start at the beginning.  what is packet.dll?  ohhh, thats from the
packet driver winpcap, I am guessing that you did not install
winpcap.

i try to use snort at the cmd prompt, i type in "snort -v" and a
error message like this came out "The procedure entry point
PacketGetNetInfo could not be located in the dynamic link library
packet.dll" . Whenever i try to use snort this message came out, did
i do anything wrong during the installation.
