It's saying you first need to install libcrypto, libdb-3.3, etc before
you can install php.

Why not go with Fedora Core 1 (more up to date) and install 'yum' or
'apt-get' which will both sort out your dependencies for you?

Also take a look at http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/ - all the
rpms you can ever need (almost).
