Re: logging snort logs to remote mysql box

Hello,

I am having a problem with my snort.conf file:

Would the following line be ok?

output database: alert, mysql, user=snort password=N0womd$!
dbname=snort host=10.0.0.2 sensor_name=10.0.0.5

Obviously this is on one line.  Would IPs work or does it have to have
a hostname?  I keep getting errors when I use the above line:

 FATAL ERROR: Undefined variable name: (/etc/snort/snort.conf:452):
