Unified log byteorder converters?

I'm interested in any available tools to take a snort unified alert/log
file generated on a system with one CPU type and convert it for use by
barnyard running on another system with a different CPU type. eg: snort
running on a Sun box(sparc CPU) and barnyard running on an x86 box?

Has anyone built such a beast? It would be a great tool to have
available to all snort users.
