I'm posting this a second time. Does anyone know why snort -N option or the "output log_null" output plugin don't stop individual directory names from being created in the log directory? I'm running Snort 2.0.5 on RHLinux. Thanks _____ From: snort-users-admin () lists sourceforge net [mailto:snort-users-admin () lists sourceforge net] On Behalf Of Sheahan, Paul Sent: Wednesday, April 28, 2004 4:44 PM To: snort-users () lists sourceforge net Subject: [Snort-users] Output log_null and -N don't work Hello, I'm running Snort 2.0.5 on RHLinux. Whether I configure an output plugin using "output log_null", or use -N on the command line, Snort still logs using individual directory names. Then when max directories are reached, Snort fails. Can anyone tell me how I can get this feature to work? Thanks
