Snort1.9 on RH7.3 Upgrade to Snort2.x on RH9

Greetings. We're running Snort 1.9 & RedHat 7.3 on Dell servers & would like
to know if someone has or knows of a document out there that explains how to
upgrade to Snort 2.x on RedHat Linux 9. Any info you can provide will be
