MMAP-ed libpcap for linux kernels including linux-2.6.x

Fellow linux snorters,

I finally have a libpcap release that will load and run in MMAP mode on
linux-2.6.1.  All previous releases worked more or less on linux-2.[234].x,
but not on linux-2.6.x.

The current release at http://public.lanl.gov/cpw can be found at:

  http://public.lanl.gov/cpw/libpcap-0.8.20040115.tar.gz

I'd appreciate if you would limit comments to those related to a running
snort or tcpdump using this library.  Requests for help configuring, compiling,
and loading are beyond my interest level.
