Hi , I need help, I have installed Snort on Windows. In General --> Configuration, Log folder, I can see a alert.ids file. But when I go to the directory I am unable to see the file. If I go to c:\eaglex\snort\logs, I can see the folder created with *.ids file in it. My question is how do I set this alert.ids file. I have also configure Auto blocker (Black ICE V2), but when I keep a continuous ping to the server it does not block it.
