Hi All! Could anyone gives the solutions for the problem? I'm using Linux Redhat 7.2 base for SNORT 1.8 This error message occured when I start snort for the first time using webmin sh: /etc/rc.d/init.d/snortd: /bin/sh : bad interpreter: No such file or directory 32256" Then I try to start the daemon manually by doing a service snortd start at /etc/rc.d/init.d service snortd start env: /etc/init.d/snortd: No such file or directory as same error messages as above. But when I check the file, it still inside with the right permissions and the right code in it. When i try running snort -c snort.conf -T from /etc/snort, error message show that line 279 preprocessor http_decode: 80 unicode iis_alt_unicode double_encode iis_flip_slash full_whitespace any ideas? thanks an advance ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
