Make sure mySQL is running and is listening on a network socket.  Also make sure your trying to connect to the proper

Anyone have any insight into the following MySQL error after installing
Snort 2 and attempting to access ACID:

Database ERROR:Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)

Any information is greatly appreciated.
