best way to get data into db?

Is barnyard the preferred way? or should i still use snort's own 
database output plugin?

I have barnyard 0.1.0 and it is not doing anything other than output a 
lot of verbose debugging to the screen.  cvs on sf.net looks like it has 
been dead for a while now.  Is there a newer place to grab it from?

I want to get acid going and thus need the db working.
