What is so enhanced about this Snort? 

Those slides were made prior to Snort 2.0. Specifically, they refer to
the snort 2.0 detection engine & the associated tuning knowledge that
sourcefire provides.

If it based on Snort then it may be worthwhile making it available
for src-download etc..What do you think?
