Snort sensor on Windows2000 and logging into mysql server on linux ? any experience

Has anybody had any experience regarding installing a
snort sensor on Windows2000 and logging alerts into a
centralized mysql server on linux.

Is it possible? If yes, any suggestions, any
documentation?
