smb alerts

First, I am sorry if this has been discussed before.  I can't get into the
archives.  The connection is being refused.  I am trying to get snort to
send alerts to my windows machine via smbalerts.  I have samba installed and
smbclient is in my path.  I created a file with the machine names.  Oh, and
I did compile it with -enable-smbalerts.

 

I haven't been able to find much on this.  Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
