Acid vs Fwlogwatch

From what I can see their is very little difference between the two . 
I'm trying to decide between the two. Fwlogwatch doesn't offer xml . But 
does offer the ability to use forensic tools ? Could someone shed some 
light on the main differences  and why I would choose acid over 
fwlogwatch .  thanks.
