I have so far been unable to find how to disable this alert in Snort 2.0. Each time a POP client checks mail I get one of these and so far that's all the data in mysql (!)... If you can reproduce this with normal network traffic, please do a snort -b -l /tmp host src host 205.152.58.136 and port pop3 to see if this option is going off incorrectly. Feel free to send it directly to me. -- Chris Green <cmg () sourcefire com> Fame may be fleeting but obscurity is forever. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Snort-users mailing list Snort-users () lists sourceforge net Go to this URL to change user options or unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/snort-users Snort-users list archive: http://www.geocrawler.com/redir-sf.php3?list=snort-users
