Why are you configuring Snort for cygwin. Are you installing Snort on a
Window box?

Go to www.silicondefense.com and follow the support trail to install a
complete IDS on a Windows box, using Snort.

Does snort support cygwin? I downloaded snort-2.0.0rc2, and when I ran 
configure, it told me to download libpcap. I got it, and the configure 
didn't work. I think it doesn't support cygwin, or windows. So, how do I get

it to work on cygwin?
