I am in the process of finishing up a perl program to reads events from a
database every X amount of minutes and then sends traps if the event came
from a specified sensor in the config file. When I finish it up I will post
to the snort-users mail list.

Subject: [Snort-users] snmp trap handler

Has anyone put together, at least, a basic snmptrapd.conf for snort?
This is a bit of an undertaking and duplication of effort is always nice
to avoid.
Also, any status on the snmp patch for 2.0?

thanks,
-josh
