Bus error on sparc

Hi,

I use Debian on a SPARC. I installed Snort 1.8 some time ago and it always crashs with bus error if stream4 was activated. I read that 64-Bit architectures are problematical with stream4 at minimum on PA-RISC (HP-UX) and SPARC (Solaris and Linux). So I waited for 2.0.

Now I updated to 2.0.0 from debian and it still crashs with a bus error if stream4 is activated. I found some old mails which implies that the problem was solved. So does it be a known issue that 2.0 still crashs with bus error if stream4 is activated?

Best regards

Michael
