Thanks for the replies people. I ran into the same problem, gonna mess around a bit and see if I can get it to play nice :) Thanks Johan -----Original Message----- From: Mika Hirvonen [mailto:hirvox () welho com] Sent: den 28 mars 2003 17:29 To: Snort Users (E-mail) Subject: Re: [Snort-users] MySQL 4 Johan Sunnerstig wrote:
Hi. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried Snort out with MySQL 4 yet? Experiences? Problems? etc?
Snort 1.9.1 fails to start, because it expects to find the old mysql client library (libmysqlclient.so.10). I'm currently trying to get it to compile from source rpms and see if it detects the new MySQL correctly. -- Mika Hirvonen <hirvox () welho com> http://nightwatch.mine.nu/ Get Freenet from: http://213.243.189.190:8891/VbMLk0MvsSM/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: The Definitive IT and Networking Event.
