Snort -- file size exceeded

Fellow Snort Users,

I'm hoping you can help me solve this problem I'm having with the latest version of Snort.  I have been getting the 
following error when I try to run snort.

[1]+  File size limit exceeded

When I delete the /var/snort_log_storage dir the error seems to go away but will return soon.

Any ideas?
