Please read all the notices below.

The Windows documentation and download areas have a new facelift, along
with NEW updated white papers for the installation of a complete IDS
using Snort on the Windows platform.

The whitepapers include not only Snort using ACID as a console, but now
includes Snortsnarf as a console. Both ACID and Snortsnarf have
instructions for installing either console with the preferred IIS Web
Server for Microsoft or the Apache Web Server as an alternative to the
IIS Web Server.

Note - Slave Sensors: There are specific instructions on installing a
single or multiple SLAVE consoles that can be managed by a single Master
sensor using ACID as the console and MySQL as the database.

Note: All support programs are cutting edge, so precautions are always
wise.
