I read awhile ago in a report that Intel chipsets were the best for sniffing NICs. I use them with OpenBSD and everything works fine. I believe the report came from NSS Group Report.

What would be one of the better Nic's to use for a sensor getting hit with
a large amount of traffic? I want to get something reliable and with a
large rececive buffer that will work on OpenBSD.
