snort eating up memory FAST

I just rebuilt my snort sensor, and for a couple of days it ran just
fine.  Today, all of a sudden it start at about 12k memory and keeps
going up and up, I caught it once at 50k, it just keeps chunking away
until there's nothing left.
Win2k snort 1.9, any ideas?
