Need Paging Capability Based On Alert Severity

Hello:

I've tried looking into the archives but was unable to find what I am 
looking for. I am running a snort sensor on unix as well as ACID.
My sensor logs to both syslog as well as mysql. What I would like
to do is to trigger an page based on severity, I wish to keep pages
down to a minimum. I have aleady setup a qpage server and have
looked into Big Brother, bb2snort, but would rather keep it simple
like perhaps swatch or other.

Any help appreciated.
