absolutely! Just point the output line in the snort.conf file to the IP address instead of localhost. Make sure you have the appropriate port, UID, Password assigned to the entry remote system. Thank you. I have tried this and it now keeps logging for a longer time, but it stops after some hours. Any more ideas?
