RE: ACID Login Failed configured on Red Hat 8.0

If you're running Red Hat 8.0, then you have Apache 2.0x. There is an issue
with PHP and Apache 2. You may need to edit the /etc/php.ini file and make
sure that Register Globals = On.

Hopefully this works!

Subject: [Snort-users] ACID Login Failed configured on Red Hat 8.0

I am new to Linux. I am running Red Hat 8.0. I am using the Snort
Installation Manual for Red Hat 7.3. I have followed all the steps but I am
unable to log in to the ACID Console. I have made the required changes to
acid_conf.php in the path /var/www/html/acid and /var/www/html/acidviewer.
I have made the required changes in the Directory section of the httpd.conf.
Apache passwords are created in usr/lib/apache/passwords path. I can run
snort in shell. Webmin and MySQL are running. I can not identify why I am
unable to login to the ACID Console. Can someone help a wantabe geek out?

Thanks,
Zeke
