ACID/SNORT Newbie

Just got Snort/Acid installed per the installation guide. When I connect to
the ACID home page, I have two issues:

1) The login doesn't apear to work (no, it really doesn't let me in) I think
this is more of an Apache config issue, which I'm looking to.

2) If I take out the config for the passwords and am able to get into the
ACID home page, I'm able to get to the point of clicking on "Create ACID
AG", and nothing happens.

Suggestions? Places to look for more clues?
