Hi,
I start snort with the following: /usr/local/bin/snort -o -i
$INTERFACE -D -c /etc/snort/snort.conf
(this is within an init.d script as per directions in snort-mysql-rh7 doc).
I am not even showing up portscan traffic that I generate within my network.
Thanks,
Joshua Rogers
