ACID on IIS Email Problem

One... probably easy Problem
 
I just moved my acid console from Apache to IIS, and....
 
When trying to email alerts from ACID
 
Warning: Server Error in acid_action.inc on line 1206
EXPORT ERROR: Could not send exported alerts to 'gomer () gomerism com'.
Check the mail configuration in PHP
 
How can I configure acid to send through a specified smtp server?
 
Also, does acid have any capability to automatically send e-mail alerts
for certain events?
