Hi,
If you need a free web-based management for snort,
then take a look at SnortCenter http://users.pandora.be/larc .
It's also written in php and works very well with ACID.
At this moment I'm testing my latest development version of the remote
sensor deamon, it has full network encryption support with ssl between
management console & remote sensors !
Normaly it will run on almost every UNIX system, with an easy installation
script.

I will put the new version online next monday.
