Snort and MRTG

Howdy doo.  Has anyone written a script to get snort statistics to hand
to MRTG?  It seems like you could get what you need from a kill -10.  I
was going to do it just now, but then I didn't want to do any actual
work if it's already been done for me :).  If noone responds, I'll post
the kludgy script that I come up with.
