The answer is 99% probably - Yes but how do I set snort up to alert me when it finds an IP number being used which is NOT is my IP range. For example if a visitor connects. Is there a way to log any new MAC addresses it sees?
Have a look at the arpspoof processor. You can feed it a list of MACs and it can alert based off of that.
