Snort rules on land attack

Hi,

I read thoroughly the manual, and some discussions here on this issue, but 
still cannot figure out how to write a snort rule on land attack. Or 
generally, how to get the source and destination addresses and ports and 
compare them in the snort semantics. Thanks!
