Promiscuous Mode?

Hi,

I have setup snort successfully on a win2000 machine
and it is connected behind a firewall into a cisco
switch. I have setup span to monitor the firewall port
and send it to the snort machine. However snort sees
nothing because the card is not in promiscuous mode,
how do i set this? Is it by using -v when running
snort? or is there some driver or setting in win2000.
