Problem setting up ACID + POSTGRESQL

Hi,

I've followed the instructions for setting up acid.
Snort is logging to a postgres db of the same name.
I've got an acid_user who can query the snort db via
psql and has all the required access permissions. I
recompiled php from the src rpm to add bc-math support
and to double check that all the other php requirements
for acid+snort+pgsql were in place. Php + apache is working,
and the phplot graphic examples come up fine. The adodb (1.40), acid,
and phplot directories are all in my apache document root, I'm
running apache 1.3.20 on a redhat 7.2. I've got acid_conf.php set up
to connect to the snort db on port 5432, as acid_user. Ive got the
DBlib_path variable set to the path to the adodb directory. I've tried
using the two connect methods connect, and pconnect. But the
acid_main.php
page displays nothing. When I enable debuggin I get the following
output:

URL: '/acid/acid_main.php' (referred by: '')
         PARAMETERS: ''
         CLIENT: Mozilla/4.78 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.4.9-7 i686)
         SERVER: Apache/1.3.20 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux) mod_ssl/2.8.4
OpenSSL/0.9.6b DAV/1.0.2 PHP/4.0.6 mod_perl/1.24_01 mod_throttle/3.1.2
SERVER HW: Linux korchagin 2.4.9-7 #1 Thu Oct 18 13:42:17 EDT
2001 i686 unknown
DATABASE TYPE: postgres DB ABSTRACTION VERSION:
PHP VERSION: 4.0.6 PHP API: apache
         SESSION ID: 1d32fe7cd160bde35e89f676f4a5c700( 18236 bytes )

Checking for DB abstraction lib in '/var/www/html/adodb/adodb.inc.php'

And then nothing.

What should I do to get acid working?

TIA,

Christopher
