Detection of nmap ACK scans?

Hello.

Still testing and trying to learn more about this wonderful tool.

For all I have been able to see, snort cant detect nmap
ACK scans. There was some mail about adding that to the stream
pluging in the mail archives, but it was like a year old.

So, it is already implemented, and not documented, or snort is
still unable to detect ACK scans? Any plans to make it do so?
