   Since I have been seeing a lot of similar requests lately, I have decided
   to make snort available on my FTP site:

          ftp://ftp.taygeta.com/pub/Security/snort


   I have the 1.8 rules as of 27 August, and snort 1.8.1-RELEASE sources
   there.
