This little threads update *greatly* improves MySQL performance under heavy 
use.  Solves the "90% CPU and freezing" problem.  I'm using it on our 
high-traffic MySQL-driven site and it works great.

Please link it or pass it along to other people having the same MySQL 
problem on OpenBSD.

Thanks to Marco Hyman for the info, which I'm really just presenting on 
this web-page for archive/tutorial sake.
