Looks like your log directory does not exist and if it does don't have
permissions set right to allow snort to write to it.

By the way, this is running on a Win 2000 Pro machine...

I am using snort 1.8.2 with snortsnarf.  When I attempt to run
snort against the Rule file using the following command: snort -A full
-c
snort.conf

I get the following error.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

C:\Snort>snort -A full -c snort.conf
Log directory =

        --== Initializing Snort ==--

[!] ERROR: Can not get write access to logging directory log.
(directory doesn't exist or permissions are set incorrectly
or it is not a directory at all)

Fatal Error, Quitting..
