Snort Message: no resources

["t delay" <linux_driver () mail com>]

After running a while (sometimes 1 hour, sometimes a few days), Snort pops up the message:
  eth0: card reports no resources

I start Snort using:
  snort -h 192.168.69.0/24 -c /usr/local/src/snort/snort.conf -o

RedHat 7.0
Kernel 2.2.16-22
IBM 200 MHz Pentium 64 MB Ram
IBM 10/100 NIC
