Hello,

I have had snort running for over a week now, and I must say I am very
impressed.  I have seen some things that I knew were going on, but now am
able to see trends, etc.  I have used the FAQ some, some websites for
defintions of rules, etc, and all is going well.

I have one question on the speedera alert though.  I do understand what it
is, but has anyone addressed the possibility of this being used for a denial
attack?  It seems kinda "handy" to do one lookup, and get 7-8 ping replies.
