Database ERROR:Can't open file: 'event.MYD'. (errno: 145)

[Dr SuSE <drsuse () drsuse org>]

Anyone know what's going on here?  The file exists and the path to it is 
correct.  I started getting this error after deleting some alerts from the ACID 
console.
