Snort Rules

Here is a request, that might make life easier on us all, would be to keep a database of the snort 
rules, that would be accessible.

In this way we could do the following:
daily: update, new rules, possibly beta rules
weekly: Update all rules.

Again this would be great with a database to store the rules, then this could save some 
configuration, like to disable rules, from the rules list because of some reason like a changed 
version for local use, or it being disabled.
