You might take a look on my RPM, it's version 1.8.1 with MySQL-support including
2 snortd scripts and a description, go to
http://www.lug-burghausen.org/projects/#snort-stat. An RPM without MySQL-Support
can be found on any redhat mirror in the contrib section.
