compile help or Binaries/RPMs available?

I have Linux Mandrake 7.2 (kernal 2.2.17) on a I586.
I can't seem to compile and install snort.

i get the following when i run "make".

if nobody can help with the above issue, does somebody happen to have a RPM 
for linux 2.2.17 (mdk7.2) on a I586?
