Akshaye,

that depends what platform you will be using it on. For Windows you
can download the binaries (of Snort and SnortSam). For other
platforms, you will need to download the source files (in the
Download section, click on source files in the first line. Then you
see the 3 files for SnortSam, and right below additional files for
Snort). Once you have the source files, you need to recompile Snort,
and then compile SnortSam.
