Loopback alert

Hello All,

about 3 or 4 days ago, I started receiving this alert
"MISC Loopback Traffic"

Is it that my server is acting as a router?

it keeps looping from 127.0.0.1 --> 255.255.255.255

Any ideas? why did I just started getting it? I've been using Snort a while 
and never got it before.
