Trouble compiling snort --with-snmp

Hey y'all

I'm trying to put together 1.8.1 with mysql and snmp and, well, she no
work.  It looks like when it's linking I get this:

spo_SnmpTrap.c:435:  Undefined symbol `_snmp_parse_args' referenced from
text segment
spo_SnmpTrap.c:954:  Undefined symbol `_snmp_parse_oid' referenced from
text segment
spo_SnmpTrap.c:982:  Undefined symbol `_snmp_parse_oid' referenced from
text segment

I am running OpenBSD-2.8-stable and I have installed the ucd-snmp
package from ports, and from what I can tell, it installed okay.

I did have trouble getting it configure at first, but then I copied
snmp_parse_args.h to the /usr/local/include/ucd-snmp dir and now I'm
stuck again.  It would configure fine, but it dies here.

Anyone have any clues?  I'm fresh out, appearently...
