Oracle Support

I have recently installed snort 1.81 and Oracle 8.1.6 on a Linux machine.  The snort is working well, but I would like 
it to log to my Oracle database.  I have read the release notes and can find very little documentation on how to 
accomplish this.  Does anyone have a general overview of what I must do in order to get this to work?
